IN THE MATRIX WITH KATHERINE STRUTT
"The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know." —Albert Einstein
Pensions. Sounds simple right? For many of us we see it as a deduction on our pay-stub. But oh, there's so much more to it, I’m coming to learn. So. Much. More.
Pensions, as you may or may not know, are simply a form of investing, with the specific intention of building up your retirement nest egg. In some cases, you get to decide where these funds are invested. In other cases, a fund manager makes the decision on your behalf. Either way, it’s your money, your retirement fund, and your future. So ultimately, it’s up to you to take ownership.
And get this, Pension Plans aren’t limited to major corporations. Small business owners can create a Pension Plan within their business. A benefit to their employees, themselves, and a tax write-off.
We’re so fortunate to have Katherine Strutt, General Manager, Saskatchewan Pension Plan, join us In the Matrix on Tuesday, June 2nd at 12 noon to provide us with an introductory overview on Pensions.
I truly feel Pensions are an area of our finances, where what we don’t know can cost us.
If you, or your partner has (or had) a Pension, or if you’re a business owner who’s not paying into a Pension, you’ll want to tune in to learn:
